It's been more than a year since you tackled those big curved kitchen cupboards for us, not to mention designing your cabinetry around our existing old dresser. And what an amazing piece of bespoke furniture you created - the marriage of old and new, aesthetic and practical - that is our combination kitchen table and shelf unit hiding the boiler pipework.

I know the project was challenging and the measurements changed every time more hidden pipes were discovered, and more boxing was added, and the plastering got done. You seemed to cope amazingly well. Your craftsmanship is evident everywhere you look in our kitchen - so many little touches of detail that make a difference. Even the insides of the drawers are pleasing.

Now that it's all settled in and we've done lots of cooking and eating and entertaining there, I'm happy to have so many photos of the utter mayhem that ruled during the work. You were very obliging, ignoring mew and my camera and letting me take hundreds of pictures.

I hope this photobook will bring back some amazing memories for you, and will remind you of the stunning work you created. Especially that kitchen table with the shelves - it is a work of art.
